Basildon Park, National Trust: Silhouettes of Society - A fashion exhibition through the decades
The exhibition celebrates the life of Lady Iliffe through fashion and design. Taking inspiration from photographs, the colours and shapes of her clothing choices and the interiors of Basildon Park, the exhibition highlights Lady Iliffe's life and style within the backdrop of the house she created.

Queen Elizabeth II : Her Life In Style
Discover the remarkable style of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch through clothing worn in all ten decades of her life - from birth to adulthood, from princess to queen, and from off-duty style to dressing for the global stage for momentous occasions in Britain’s history.
Featuring more than 300 items, many on display for the first time, this is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the late Queen’s fashion ever mounted.
Ilfracombe trip organised for 19 people on the 14th November.

Marie Antoinette Style
The exhibition explored the origins and countless revivals of the style shaped by the most fashionable queen in history, Marie Antoinette. A fashion icon in her own time, and an early modern ‘celebrity’, the dress and interiors modelled and adopted by the ill-fated Queen of France in the final decades of the 18th century have had a lasting influence on over 250 years of design, fashion, film and decorative arts.
